Gold Coasters are being urged to roll up their sleeves for a different reason today, with the Red Cross once again in need of blood donations.
An extra 1,500 Queenslanders are needed to donate blood over the next fortnight to ensure stocks don’t dip to critical levels.
It comes as lockdowns lift in Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT, meaning a return to surgeries that will require more blood supply.

Yes! This is obvious as most of the people the people ignoring to donate blood because of COVID-19. Main reason for this, people want to keep themselves healthy and want to maintain their immunity. But people who are fit and healthy, they should donate blood for sure. I hope this problem will be solve soon.
