Lamborghini seized, driver charged following Gold Coast smash

 A Brisbane man has had his luxury Lamborghini seized and faces drink driving charges after crashing into a parked car in Broadbeach Waters on Wednesday night.

Police allege the 32-year-old Pallara man was driving along Rio Vista Boulevard around 8.30pm when he “lost control” of his 2017 turquoise Lamborghini Huracan.

The luxury vehicle smashed into the rear of a parked unoccupied 2021 white Toyota Landcruiser.

Australia’s first ever sustainable TAFE opens on the Gold Coast

 A brand-new TAFE Queensland has opened its doors in Robina, and its unique campus is an Australian first.

The campus is the first Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the country that has been designed from the ground up to be sustainable in building, fit-out, procurement, curriculum, operations and culture.

There are already around 700 students enrolled at the campus, and it will eventually see over 2,000 students studying there each year.

Moped rider critically injured in nasty crash on the Gold Coast

 A man is fighting for life after a nasty crash involving a moped and car in Bundall.

Emergency Services rushed to the scene along Ashmore Rd near Racecourse Drive just after 2pm.

The male moped rider sustained a head injury in the crash.

He has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

The High Acuity Response Unit is on board for transport.
