CAN METAL-FREE CROWNS BE USED ON BACK TEETH?

Hello All,

I had been waiting to get a crown for my back tooth but was thinking whether to opt for metal one or non-metal one. It felt stupid to opt for non-metal one since back teeth have to do a lot of crushing and grinding and I might be suffering from bruxism. However, the dentist had another version. He told me that the latest metal-free crowns were made from zirconium dioxide which is not a metal and does not cause any inflammation or allergies. Plus, it is extra strong and long lasting. I was surprised but when I got to know more about it, I got the crown fixed. So, here is an article that will help you too.
