Toddler dies after being pulled from popular Gold Coast swimming enclosure

 There’s been a tragedy on the Gold Coast just a day before Christmas, with a toddler drowning at Labrador.

The three-year-old boy was found floating in the popular swimming enclosure at the Broadwater just before 9.00am on Friday.

Paramedics performed CPR on the youngster before rushing him to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

Sadly, police have confirmed the child died shortly after arriving at hospital.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner
